Lake of the Pines Market Update – February 2026 🏡✨
The Lake of the Pines real estate market is heating up as we head into spring! February brought a strong seller’s market, with fewer homes available and a noticeable jump in buyer activity. In fact, home sales increased dramatically compared to both last year and last month, showing that buyers are still eager to secure a home in our beautiful community.
One of the biggest stories this month is inventory. The number of homes for sale is significantly lower than it was a year ago, meaning buyers have fewer options to choose from. When supply drops like this, competition tends to increase — which can be great news for sellers thinking about listing their homes.
Homes are also selling much faster than before. The average days on market dropped to just about three weeks, a big improvement compared to recent months and last year. That means well-priced homes are moving quickly once they hit the market.
Pricing has stayed relatively steady overall. While the average price per square foot dipped slightly from last month, it remains very close to where it was a year ago, showing that values in Lake of the Pines are holding stable. The median home price even ticked up slightly from January.
